The Show With No Name, featuring Kevin Woody

Here's some news. I'm in an art show this Saturday night. It's a tribute to spaghetti westerns and I made two paintings for it. There's a lot of other rad artists in the show too. On top of that, there will be live music, old-timey photo ops, and AMBIANCE. Come check it out!

Kevin Woody's The Space Mayor of Space Town

Hey everyone! I'm starting a new comic and posting it online with the intention of having it printed on paper the old fashioned way so I guess you could call it a webcomic. It's called The Space Mayor of Space Town and there's already 11 pages for you to read online right now.

Go check it out!

Watercolor Paper Tutorial

Do you have any amazing gift for stretching watercolor paper? If you do, then you are probably really good at getting a great tax refund* and assembling IKEA furniture*. If you however have found yourself crying while standing over a warped piece of watercolor paper that you assumed to have successfully stretched then please get ye to the blog DRAW PAINT CUT PASTE at once.

This tutorial is close to a hundred warped papers in the making. I hope if anything this will bring you some confidence and help overcome the sight of a poorly stretched paper incident.

All Trial By Fire

I just wanted to share what I've been working on as of late... it's a book cover for Carol Posner's upcoming novel entitled All Trial By Fire, A Woman's Journey. It's not published yet, but I'm super excited to have worked on a project that I'll be able to see in print!
