Cheryl Savala - MA 1994
Images from Cheryl's graduate show - 1994. Cheryl is now the owner and creative director of Menagerie Creative.
Cheryl is still a big kid at heart with an office and home consumed with Star Wars, Nightmare Before Christmas and Maleficent toys, but with over 20 years of entertainment marketing and design experience, she's also had the pleasure to direct the creative for several incredible home entertainment campaigns including The Star Wars Saga, Titanic, X-Men, Planet of the Apes and the United Artist 90 Anniversary celebration. Cal State Fullerton is her alma mater where both a BFA and MA in Design and Illustration were earned. Each semester she returns to CSUF to mentor a new group of seniors in an upper division course specializing in entertainment design. Yoda, whom she is sometimes referred to, is proud to say that nearly 30 young apprentices have been recognized by the Hollywood Reporter Key Art Awards in the Annual Student Key Art Award Competition and many of those incredible artists share their passion for great design here at Menagerie Creative.
